Today, we have over 100 access to information laws around the world. These laws – protecting the public’s right to know – are increasingly important to keep citizens informed and involved. But the implementation of these laws is fragile in a digital world.

Yesterday Mikael Damberg, the Swedish Minister for Enterprise and Innovation visited London for talks with his colleague Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business Innovation and Skills. The talks centered on the creation of a connected digital single market and TTIP i.e. the trade agreement that is being negotiated between the European Union and the United States.
