On Wednesday 5 October 2016, educators and inspirational figures from all over the world are coming to Stockholm for the #FirstGeneration Global Goals Forum. From the Canadian Arctic to the Marshall Islands – a total of 19 individuals inspiring people in different ways to make the world a better, sustainable place, gather in Stockholm along with hundreds of their peers to exchange experiences and raise awareness of sustainable development and the Global Goals.

Make sure to tune in to our Facebook and Twitter – and, of course, #FirstGeneration – as we present some of these exceptional men and women, and highlight their amazing feats in the name of sustainability!

The Forum – to be led by Swedish YouTuber and author Clara Henry – features a massive bank of sustainable development know-how through the likes of statistics whizz Staffan Landin, Sweden’s Minister for the Environment Karolina Skog, and hundreds of attending representatives from sustainable development organisations. All to be topped off to the tunes of Swedish-Sami singer, artist and human rights activist Maxida Märak on stage.
